Left home at around 9am and after saying our goodbyes to a few of the neighbours headed towards Bendigo. We were going to stay one night in Bendigo but as it was only lunchtime when we got there we decided to push on to Charlton where we stayed at the Travellers Rest area - this is an area behind the pub and each site has an ensuite. It is only $25 per night and well worth it.
